Late Modernity (1989 – 2019)

Released in 1995, Toy Story, was the first fully computer-animated feature film, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The feature-film directorial debut of John Lasseter. Once this film was released the animation industry would never be the same, more doors were open and so did minds. The human mind thinks there’s always a limit until proven wrong, as long as no one is willing to take a “shot” we would never advanced. So, it may be complicated to understand animation or even art for that matter, however, you only understand a subject as long as you’ve get really connected to it, or “been through” it. From the outside everything looks simple and easy to make, although, when you go in depth with a subject it is assured to become more complicated.

Animation might take years or decades, but I choose this subject not looking at the “difficult” sides of it, I choose because I have a big passion for it.

Here are some films that animation gave us and we continue to cherish and love: The Incredibles (2004), Shrek (2001), The Lion King (1994), Finding Nemo (2003)
